Site visit

Our SS met us on site today to show us through the house. It looks fantastic from inside. Its awesome to be able to see each room and get a feel for the size of the internal spaces. So far it all looks good. There is no major overhang of the frame over the edge of the slab and the SS said that there were no real issues with the frame itself. He said there were a couple of small things he picked up but in general the carpenter did a really good job.

Our SS told us that he is scheduled to lock up the site every second Friday, and we are more than welcome to come in and have a look at the progress on the house. He said he prefers for us to be able to check on things and if we see anything not quite right that we are able to let him know and he can get on top of it early. That's awesome. At least we are not denied access at all like we originally thought (as the signs erected on the fences would indicate).

So next week the following should occur:

Monday 30th June - Site clean and plumbing rough in
Tuesday 1st July - Bricks to be delivered
Wednesday 2nd July - Bricks to commence

All in all, I think we have been really lucky to get our SS, he is pretty awesome.
